Ship performance analysis
Performance analyses can be carried out based on real data logged onboard. The data is automatically uploaded to a webserver using an e/mail mechanism. All the data is made accessible for Operations de web portal via OCTOPUS-Online.
The following information can be retrieved from the data:
- Fuel consumption per 24 hrs, 48 hrs, week or voyage
- Fuel consumption per vessel and for a fleet
- In kW or US$
- Relations between the fuel consumption and parameters like draft, trim, RPM, speed, wind, waves and current and ship motions
- Real-time comparison and benchmarking with speed trial conditions
- Emissions CO2 and NOx
- Ranking of vessels
- Optimization of fuel consumption by creation of total awareness
