Bridging the gap between research and maritime operations |
|
September 26-29, one of the world’s largest shipping exhibitions and conferences will be held in Hamburg, Germany. It is therefore time to give you an update on the latest news about the OCTOPUS system, which will be demonstrated in the booths of different companies at the exhibition. After a long period of strong focus on structural and safety issues from the operator’s point of view, OCTOPUS has now been extended with a response-based route optimization function. The system evaluates ship responses along the route, displays operational windows and advanced alarm and post voyage analysis. |
