OCTOPUS-Monitoring & Routing systems are getting more and more popular. 2007 is already the year in which since its introduction, a new record of OCTOPUS-systems will be taken in use per annum. These installations vary from simple stand-alone installations to high-end fully integrated in the ship’s navigation system.

 

OCTOPUS-systems world wide

French CMA CGM, the world's third largest container shipping group, has ordered OCTOPUS-ONBOARD for the newbuilding series of 5100 TEU containerships. The first systems already have been installed at HHI on the Container Vessels “CMA CGM White Shark”, “CMA CGM Marlin” and “CMA CGM Kingfish”.
